Community-based learning is an educational approach the integrates classroom instruction with meaningful community engagement. It promotes active engagement, collaboration, and practical application of knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding of academic concepts and cultivating civic responsibility among learners.
The Office of Community-Based Learning connects community partners, faculty, and staff to support educational partnerships that respond to community goals. These experiential partnerships transform the educational experience of Georgia Tech undergraduates, allowing them to tackle real-world problems outside the classroom.
